Your mailed kit will be a beginner-friendly Lady Maillerie Mystery Kit designed especially for this founding beta round.

The exact project and colorway will be a surprise — but it will be a fantasy-inspired chainmaille or scalemaille accessory suitable for newer makers.

Possible project energy may include dragon eggs, scales, charms, wearable trinkets, dice goblin treasures, ren faire accessories, or tiny shiny nonsense from the Lady Maillerie workshop.

Each kit will include pre-counted materials, step-by-step guidance, and a printable tutorial — so you can learn without feeling like you were handed a pile of rings and abandoned in a medieval basement.

Mystery Kit Note: The exact project and colorway are a surprise, but every founding mystery kit will be beginner-friendly, fantasy-inspired, and designed to teach approachable chainmaille or scalemaille skills. Kits may vary slightly by colorway or available materials while staying within the same general skill level and value.

No prior jewelry-making experience is needed. If you can hold pliers, you can do this.

🔧 Tools You'll Need

The mystery kit includes all materials, but you'll want these basic tools on hand before your kit arrives:

• Two pairs of smooth-jaw (flat-nose or chain-nose) pliers — no teeth!
• A well-lit workspace
• A small tray or bead mat to catch rings
• Optional: a magnifying glass or lamp for detail work

Tool and supply guidance in your welcome materials will point you to affordable, quality options if you need to shop.

📦 Shipping Expectations

Your mystery kit will be mailed within 2–3 weeks of enrollment confirmation. Because each kit is thoughtfully assembled by hand (yes, by actual human hands — mine!), please allow a little extra time during busy seasons.

Digital content and PDFs are delivered via email and/or a member portal link — no waiting required for those.

Because this membership includes immediate access to digital content (tutorials, PDFs, and guides), digital components are non-refundable once delivered.

If your mystery kit arrives damaged or with missing items, please reach out within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right.
